Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Bullock County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared beyond the site team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive basic technical details about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure site use, such as popular pages and exit points. Analytics providers may combine that traffic into reports. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Bullock County Court Docket does not host, build, maintain, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It publishes general directions to the Bullock County Circuit Clerk, Circuit and District Courts, and official Alabama search systems. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy. The provider, not this site, determines retention and sharing practices, so its policy should be reviewed before a query is sent.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Bullock County Circuit Clerk, Alabama court portals, legal-aid resources, and independent search tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms control. Review them before providing personal details.
Some advertising providers may use cross-site activity to choose ads. That collection occurs through the provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet service can promise perfect security, so an unauthorized disclosure or breach cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Notice that a minor supplied data will be reviewed so the information can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Privacy and consumer-protection rights vary by residence. Alabama court-record access is governed most directly by the Alabama Rules of Court-Record Privacy and Confidentiality; the Alabama Open Records Act does not replace those judicial rules for a case file. For data held by this private site, a user may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
